On Thursday, the Minister of Defense of Lithuania stated that Poland, the Baltic States, and Finland are "close" to each other. During a speech at a conference in Germany, she emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between these countries in the field of defense.
"We see that our countries (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland) are close to each other in spirit, geographically, and even in our interests," the minister noted. "We are ready to work together to ensure the security of our region."
The Lithuanian minister also underscored the importance of adhering to alliance principles and the readiness of NATO member countries to support one another in case of a threat.
